Annual Charity Ball
The Merseyside Trainee Solicitors Group has the pleasure of inviting you to a 'Night at the Oscars' in association with Hill Dickinson , Weightmans , Brabners Chaffe Street and Re Legal Ltd , specialists in legal recruitment, on the 3rd of November 2007.
Never in your wildest dreams could you have imagined that Hollywood lay so close to your door, so come join us for a Hollywood themed night of fun, frolics and laughter - never to be forgotten!
Picture the scene! The luxurious Crowne Plaza will play host to our activities, opening its doors for a champagne reception from 6.45pm onwards. Whilst the lights dazzle, the cameras flash, the champagne flows. the sound of live music will compliment the mood. A mouth-watering dinner will then await you at 7.45pm whilst you are taken back in time by a pianist performing all your favourite Hollywood classics!
Then at circa 9.30pm please all raise your glasses for the MTSG Chair to make her annual address. We will then have a few words of gratitude from our Charity spokesperson before announcing the raffle winners. Tickets for the raffle will be sold during the Champagne reception and there will be the opportunity to win many great prizes such as meals, suits and holiday discount vouchers! The proceeds of the raffle will go to our nominated charity the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal.
After a short drinks break Marilyn Monroe, yes 'the' Marilyn Monroe will then delight us with her singing, dancing and comedy antics. During the course of the evening we will be keeping our eyes peeled for various potential Oscar winners, with the categories including best dressed male/female, best hair, and best couple - no pressure! So whether you are a Brad and Angelina, or Sue and a window-cleaner, we-wana-c-ya!
Marilyn Monroe will then personally collect and escort the winners from the floor and bring them up to receive their Oscars! Once we have all caught our breath again some of you may wish to try your hand at the casino gaming tables whilst a DJ will be warming up to take us through the night with the coolest beats and classiest party cheese. before sadly your carriage awaits you at 1am.
So, you ask, just how can we pack so much into a ticket price of £60? The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. 'A Night at the Oscars' is not to be missed as it promises to be an action packed, fun filled, rollercoaster of a ride!
As always places are limited and tickets are already selling fast!
